ITINERARY:
Day 1/ Wednesday/ May 2, 2012 (USA/NICE) Overnight flight. Meals on board.
Day 2/ Thursday/ May 3, 2012 (NICE/CANNES) Welcome, Bienvenue! to Nice, the undisputed capital of the French Riviera (Cote d'Azur), a year round holiday destination. The city evokes an image of the rich and famous. Meeting, assistance and transfer to our hotel. Afternoon free, perhaps a good time to relax, unwind and/or explore our hotel surroundings. Evening starts with a short informal orientation and thanksgiving prayer followed by welcome wine cocktail and welcome dinner featuring delicious French Cuisine. (Welcome cocktail wine and dinner)
Day 3/ Friday/ May 4, 2012 (CANNES/ANTIBES/ST. TROPEZ) Home to the famous Film Festival (May 16-27, 2012) . It is held annually and is a major event for the Cannes industry. For 65 years, Cannes is the city of Festivals, Fireworks and Film Stars. We'll stop at the Film Festival Palace and see the stars handprints, the shops, the sandy beaches and enjoy a short walk at the famous Croisette Boulevard. Continue by the coast line to Golfe-Juan where Napoleon landed in 1815 with his 600 men having escaped exile on the island of Elba. We, then, visit the fashionable resort of Antibes, Juan le Pines, for an interesting visit to the Picasso Museum featuring more than 200 pieces of Picasso's works. Then on to St. Tropez, once an old fishing village. This scenic area is now a fashionable resort frequented by extremely wealthy guests. It has been dubbed the "playground to jetsetters, fashion models, movie stars, artists, writers and millionaires". Relax and enjoy the sights on a delightful cruise around the yacht-filled bay. Days 4/ Saturday/ May 5, 2012 (GRASSE/ GOURDON/ ST. PAUL DE VANCE) Grasse has been called "the perfume capital of the world". We'll learn the secrets of perfume making on our tour of the Fragonard Perfumerie and Museum in Grasse. Then, on to the Village of Gourdon. This village sits on a rocky cliff overlooking the Mediterranean coast line. Houses made from yellow stone that were built in years past and still hold up to the elements of Mother Nature can still be viewed in this extraordinary Village of Gourdon in Provence, France. Continue our tour to St. Paul De Vence, situated on top of the hill overlloking the beautiful countryside. This medieval, walled town is filled with historic buildings, hidden alleywalls, fascinating museums, fabulous restaurants and many specialty shops. (Buffet Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 5/ Sunday/ May 6, 2012 (The Principality of MONACO) Monaco is the 2nd smallest country (by size) in the world and is also the world's 2nd smallest monarchy. HIGHLIGHTS: visit to Saint Nicholas Cathedral, Monaco (Cathedrale de Monaco), the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Monaco in Monaco-ville, Monaco, where many of the Grimaldis were buried, including Grace Kelly and more recently Rainier III. Possibility of attending Sunday services. Every Sunday Mass (10am), from September through June, the Cathedral Choir School Singers participates in the singing mass. Then drive along the amazing Grand Prix circuit. On to the famous Monte Carlo Casino, one of the most notable buildings in Monaco. The casino complex is a gambling facility which also enclosed the Grand Theater of Monte Carlo, an opera and ballet house. Free time at Casino Square: enjoy yourselves with luxurious shopping, strolling along stunning gardens, megayachts, chic casinos... or simply watch the rich and beautiful in their favorite haunt. Day 6/ Monday/ May 7, 2012 (VILLEFRANCHE-SUR-MER/SAINT JEAN-CAP-FERRAT) Panoramic view from Mt. Alban overlooking the bay of Villefranche. Stop in the old town of Villefranche, whose main attraction is exploring the maze narrow streets, stairs and squares. We'll visit the 13th century La Rue Streets Obscure. Drive to the famous houses of celebrities in Saint Jean-Cap-Ferrat, home of kings, film stars and magnates. Wander through the exceptional Renaissance-style Rotschild Villa and its seven romantic gardens from French to Japanese style. Follow the tour to Beaulieu, "beautiful place", to visit the fantasy of an aristocrat, an incredible recreated 500 BC "Greek Villa Kerylos", that is unique in the world! (Buffet Breakfast/Dinner)

Day 7/ Tuesday/ May 8, 2012 (SAN REMO/VENTIMIGLIA/MENTON) A taste of real Italy and its wonderful open air markets, famous for leather goods, fashion accessories and clothes. San Remo is on the Italian Riviera between Genoa and the French border. Drive along the charming Italian Riviera, continue on to the beach of Ventimiglia. Taste the best fresh pasta of the region accommodated with seafood and/or vegetables. Back via the seacoast road driving through charming Menton, the Pearl of France. Walk the flowery old town before pursuing on the spectacular High Corniche road. Short stop for a panoramic view over Monaco from La Turbie(Buffet Breakfast/Lunch)
Day 8/ Wednesday/ May 9, 2012 (Historic NICE) Visit the Castel Park overlooking the Bay of Angels and Old Town, site of the trading town founded by the Greeks 2,700 years ago. Drive along the border and admire the Turin style buildings. Contemplate the old and new Place Garibaldi along Promenade des Arts(Modern Art Museum, Sosno's library, Acropolis Congress Center...). Arrive in Cimiez winter home of Queen Victoria. Stop at the Roman Arenas of Cemenelum. Walk among the olive trees garden and the 15th century garden of the Franciscan Monastery. Visit the extraordinary Russian Cathedral, the largest and most beautiful one outside Russia. Return by Promenade de Anglais passing its famous landmarks and Belle Epoque buildings. Reservations and Payments: A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of $500.00 deposit. Final payment is usually due 90 days prior to departure.
Cancellations: All cancellations must be in writing. Deposits are refundable up to 100 days prior to departure with a cancellation charge of US$50.00. Cancellations made after final payment and/or within 90 days of departure are non-refundable. Trip interruptions and no-shows are non-refundable as well.
Insurance: Trip cancellation insurance and medical coverage is available. We very strongly recommend it.
